MBA Leadership/Citizenship Award

The Ritchie Foundation was established by David Ritchie, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. Born in Kelowna, BC, David founded the company with his three brothers in Kelowna in 1958. 

Today Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers is the world’s leading industrial auctioneer. David served as CEO of the Company until 2004. In 2005, David was honoured with the Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Faculty of Business and its Board of Advisors.
