Awards for anthropology students

Field school funding

Student International Activities Fund - to assist with participation in unpaid international learning activities.

One World International Scholarship - international scholarship programs to assist students who plan to complete some of their coursework outside of North America.

Strategic Framework Experiential Learning Fund (SF-ELF) - travel awards for internships and field schools outside Victoria.

- bursaries for students pursuing a degree in archaeology and Indigenous students in any field.

- the Archaeological Society of British Columbia (ASBC) gives awards to students taking their first field school. The field school must be in BC. To apply, email asbc.president@gmail.com about your experience, financial need and the field school you will attend. Include a brief letter of support from the field school instructor. Deadline is May 1.

Barkley Sound Field School Student Award - awards for undergraduate anthropology students attending the Barkley Sound Field School. You must have completed at least 1 course in archaeology in the last academic year and show financial need.
