About

I have settler ancestry and have been a visitor on Coast and Strait Salish lands since 2015 when I moved here from Ontario. My pronouns are she and they. I recently completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the ßÉßɱ¬ÁÏ and am a Registered Psychologist. When I’m not working, I value time spent with a good book, painting, and writing as well as in nature with my wife and my dog.

Counselling approach

I embrace a humanistic and collaborative approach to working with others. I value your lived experiences, your own wisdom and expertise, and believe in the innate and unconditional worth of each person. I view the therapeutic relationship and the therapy room as a space to honour what is and what has been, without judgement. I integrate a variety of approaches into this humanistic foundation, including interpersonal approaches, emotion-focused approaches, gestalt therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and third-wave behavioural therapies such as DBT, CBT, and ACT.
