About
Hello, I’m Charm Torres. I've recently moved to this beautiful island with majestic mountain views in 2021, coming from the busy city of Tkaronto (Toronto). I originally came to settle on Turtle Island during my teens by way of immigration from my indigenous homeland of the Philippines.
I’m a Certified Practice Registered Nurse with almost two decades of community health experience. I've specialized in providing accessible and competent sexual and reproductive health and gender affirming primary care. I'm delighted to contribute my skills and learn alongside the incredible multidisciplinary team at the Student Wellness Centre.
I live with my beloved partner, our dog and two cats. I love divinatory arts, queer astrology, tarot, reading fanfiction, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and seaside dreaming. I enjoy building community with people who aspire towards collective liberation from colonial empires. I adore connecting over delicious food, music and sharing all the good and hard times.
