About Maggie

As someone who was born and raised on Vancouver Island, UVic was the perfect fit for me. I was able to stay close to home while still branching out and starting a fresh new chapter. The welcoming environment at UVic allowed me to explore my interests, develop new skills and build a community.

UVic had such a positive impact on my life, and I'm excited for the opportunity to support new students in their post-secondary selection process!

My advice to future university students

Take advantage of the endless opportunities to grow and try new things! Join clubs, take interesting electives and consider participating in study abroad or co-op. Getting involved will help you build a community and will make your time at university both enjoyable and transformative!
