Drama Education
M.A. & PhD
Graduate students with a minimum of two years of drama teaching experience may take an M.A. in Curriculum Studies with a specialization in drama/theatre education. PhD students in Educational Studies will also have every opportunity to focus on their areas of research interests and specializations. Students may choose elective courses in the Theatre department or other disciplines, subject to approval. The Faculty member in drama/theatre education, Dr. Monica Prendergast, will also offer directed studies courses to meet each student’s needs.

Admission Requirements
For cohort programs:
Students must meet the normal requirements for admission to Graduate Studies at the ßÉßɱ¬ÁÏ:
- A baccalaureate degree, minimum GPA of "B" (70%, 5.0/9.0) on the last 30 units, and at least two years of relevant professional experience.
- Two references (assessment reports) from field supervisors.
