Use of A.I. tools in teaching and research

April 04, 2023

UVic Libraries is pleased to announce the publication of a LibGuide on the use of generative A.I. in scholarship, with a focus on learning, teaching, and research. This resource is aimed at students, faculty, and researchers alike.

The guide provides an introduction to the topic, but is particularly committed to addressing practical aspects, such as proper citation of A.I.-generated content.

This resource will also establish a growing overview of relevant A.I. tools for academic purposes, as well as innovative examples of their use in research, instruction, and study.

In line with the rapid evolution of its topic, the LibGuide will be continuously reviewed, updated, and expanded.
