Your ONECard is your key for accessing a variety of essential services here at UVic. From checking out books at the Library to serving as your entry card for on-campus gym facilities, your ONECard makes accessing campus resources easy and convenient.
Pay with your ONECard
Using your ONECard is the fastest and easiest way to make purchases across campus. Just tap and go!
Flex account
Your flex account can be used at many locations across campus, and you'll save 5% on purchases made at all University Food Services outlets.
Pay with your ONECard at:
- University Food Services outlets—save 5% on all purchases when you pay with your card
- UVic Bookstore
- —food outlets, copy cards at Zap Copy, Subtext, Campus Pharmacy
- —memberships/equipment, tickets, concessions, rock climbing wall
- Printing & photocopying
- Advising Centre
- International Centre for Students
Meal plans
There are several meal plan options to choose from. Pay with your meal plan at any University Food Services outlet.

Official identification
Your ONECard acts as the official UVic identification at all service desks across the campus.
Exams
Students are required to present identification upon entering the examination room. Acceptable forms of identification include the physical ONECard or valid (non-expired), government issued photo ID.
Local discounts
Show your ONECard at participating local businesses to enjoy deals on everything from groceries to hotel stays—and more. Some discounts may be available to students only.
Door access
All ONECards can be encoded with door access. Each department/unit is responsible for providing (and removing) access to their individual areas.
Tired of keys and looking to add card access to your area/door? Please contact Facilities Management to get a card access lock installed. Remember to ask for ONECard access in your request.
Cardholder agreement
The UVic ONECard and the UVic Guest Card are governed by a cardholder agreement and the ßÉßɱ¬ÁÏ’s policies, procedures and regulations.
